Level 01 - Number of Slots

The appointment system offers 10 time slots per day, with each slot accommodating 150 participants in one round. The system expects over 3,000 registrations, using a selection process to fairly determine participants for each slot.

Level 02 - Performance Metrics

Each round will focus on key aspects of live FX trading, including trade volume, pips gained, and profitability. Traders will be scored based on their cumulative performance across all three rounds in a slot, with rankings determined by the highest overall performance.

Level 03 - Selection for Finals

The top 50 participants from each slot will advance to the final round, featuring 500 finalists (50 per slot). Held on the second day, the final round will determine the top 25 winners based on their performance.

Level 04 - Prize Distribution

The top 25 finalists will receive USD 25,000 in total prizes. Prizes will be awarded based on the final ranking of traders after the contest’s conclusion.

The contest will be held live at ProFX Expo MENA 2025, with dedicated trading stations for participants equipped with the necessary platforms and tools. Real-time monitoring will track performance, and data will be logged for verification.

The contest will use a live trading platform (e.g., MetaTrader 4/5), with real-time trade tracking for transparency. Each participant will have an account monitored live by event organizers and the Guinness World Records team.

Monitoring and Verification

The event will have a live stream for public viewing, with all trades logged and accessible for auditors. Independent auditors will ensure fairness, while a recording system will capture trades and rankings for later verification by Guinness World Records.

Contest Format

The live trading contest will take place over two days during the Profx Expo MENA 2025. There will be 10 trading slots available across the two days, with each slot lasting 30 minutes. Each slot will consist of 1 round, and participants will be ranked based on their performance in that round. Rankings will be determined by performance metrics such as trade volume, pips gained, and profitability. A 15-minute gap will be provided between each round for setup.

Registration and Participation

Registration is free for all traders, who must sign up online in advance to secure their spot. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the ten trading slots, and the contest is open to traders worldwide. Registered participants will receive event updates and resources to help them prepare.

The trading platform used during the event will ensure live monitoring and transparency. Real-time data tracking and verification will be in place to provide accurate results and ensure fairness throughout the contest.

Finals

After the 10 trading slots, the top 50 participants from each slot (500 total) will move to the final round. The final round will determine the top 25 winners based on trade volume, pips gained, and profitability. The grand prize of 25,000 USD will be awarded to the winners, with the final round streamed live for public viewing.

1. General Information

1.1. The ProFX Expo MENA 2025 Live FX Trading Contest will take place on April 9-10, 2025, at Media City, Dubai, UAE.

1.2. The Contest is organized as part of ProFX Expo MENA 2025 and includes an attempt to achieve the Guinness World Record for the largest number of participants in a live trading contest.

1.3. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

2.1. Participation is open to traders from all countries who are at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.

2.2. Employees of the organizers, sponsors, and event partners, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

2.3. All participants must register online in advance to secure their spot in the Contest.

3. Registration and Participation

3.2. Participants will be assigned to one of the six available slots based on availability and random assignment.

3.3. Each slot will consist of 3 rounds, and rankings will be based on performance metrics (e.g., trade volume, pips gained, and profitability).

3.4. The organizers reserve the right to verify the identity and eligibility of participants at any time during the Contest.

4. Contest Format and Rules

4.1. Contest Structure:

The Contest consists of 6 trading slots (1.5 hours each).
150 participants (top 25 from each slot) will advance to the final round.
The final round will determine the top 25 winners, who will receive a share of the prize pool.

4.2. Performance Metrics: Rankings will be based on trade volume, pips gained, and profitability during each round.

4.3. Final Round: The final will be held on the second day of the event to identify the winners.

5. Prizes and Rewards

5.1. The total prize pool for the Contest is USD 25,000, which will be distributed among the top 25 finalists based on their rankings.

5.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other rewards.

5.3. Taxes, fees, or other charges associated with the prizes will be the responsibility of the winners.

6. Record Verification

6.1. The Contest will be monitored by independent auditors and referees to ensure transparency and fairness.

6.2. An official representative from Guinness World Records will be present to verify the record attempt.

6.3. All trades and performances will be recorded and made available for review by the Guinness World Records team.

7. Participant Obligations

7.1. Participants must use the designated trading platform provided by the organizers.

7.2. Each participant will be assigned an account for use during the Contest, and no external accounts will be permitted.

7.3. Participants are required to comply with all trading rules, including adherence to ethical and fair trading practices.

7.4. Any violation of the rules, including but not limited to fraudulent activities or manipulation, will result in immediate disqualification.

8. Limitations of Liability

8.1. The organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, such as platform malfunctions or connectivity problems, that may arise during the Contest.

8.2. The organizers are not liable for any personal or financial losses incurred by participants during the Contest.

8.3. Participants agree to release the organizers, sponsors, and event partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the Contest.

9. Data Privacy

9.1. By registering for the Contest, participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal data for the purposes of organizing and promoting the Contest.

9.2. Participant data will not be shared with third parties outside the scope of the Contest without prior consent.

10. Amendments and Cancellations

10.1. The organizers reserve the right to amend or cancel the Contest at any time without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

10.2. Any changes to the Contest format, rules, or schedule will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

11.2. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Contest will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
